On June 13th, Forward Giving awarded grants to our two 2025 grant finalists, totaling $70,000.

A Sense of Home - $55,000

A Sense of Home (ASOH) focuses on creating homes for displaced individuals who have aged out of foster care or are recovering from disaster. A portion of Forward Giving’s grant will be dispersed to those who have lost their homes in the LA fires by providing essential furnishing and home goods restoring stability and dignity. The other portion will enable ASOH to add a staff position to expand services. 

Brave Trails - $15,000

Brave Trails serves the LGBTQ+ community by offering leadership-focused overnight summer camp to youth ages 12-17, developing the next generation of LGBTQ+ change makers.  Their organization will use Forward Giving’s grant to provide scholarships for campers who were impacted by the LA fires.

Forward Giving’s next giving cycle starts in September, 2025.
